Biography

Prof Min Zhang received her PhD from the University of Cambridge in Engineering. Before that, she received Bachelor and Master degrees from Tsinghua University in Electrical Engineering. She spent a year as a Junior Research Fellow at Newnham College, Cambridge and then joined University of Bath as a Lecturer.  She joined the University of Strathclyde as a Reader in 2018 and is currently a Research Fellow of Royal Academy of Engineering. She became a Professor in Dec 2021.

Prof Zhang’s research focuses on the application of high temperature superconductors in power system transmission, renewable generation and electric transportation.
