Dr Chung Tin Calvin Chow

Biography
Chung Tin Calvin Chow received the B.A. and M.Eng. degrees in engineering from the University of Cambridge, Cambridge, United Kingdom, both in 2020, with specialization in areas including control and information engineering. He is currently studying towards the Ph.D. degree at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR, China.
He was a visitor at the Institute for Technical Physics, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany for 5 months in 2022-2023, and a visitor at the Applied Superconductivity Laboratory, Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom, for 6 months in 2023.
His research interests include ac loss in superconductors, HTS modelling, superconducting machines, electric aircraft, and transportation electrification.
