Biography
Gaurav has joined the applied superconductivity group as a PhD student since January 2021, he is working for the architecture design, control and protection of superconducting busbars for an all-superconducting enabled propulsion network system.
Hybrid aircraft and electric propulsion aircraft are the promising solution to reduce nitrogen oxides and carbon emission in eco-system also provides more efficient ways for air travel, however significant power improvements are required to support such technologies. High Temperature Superconducting cables, busbars and machines are considered a promising solution to this challenge.
