Dr Yudi Xiao

Biography
Yudi received his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Technical University of Denmark, and Industrial PhD Certificate from Innovation Fund Denmark in 2022. He was an Electronics Engineer at Welltec A/S, Denmark, where he worked with his colleagues for 4 years and developed the most powerful down-hole power supply capable of withstanding ambient temperature above 175 degree Celsius. Now at the Applied Superconductivity Laboratory he lays eyes on the other end of the temperature scale, -200 degree Celsius.
His research interests include harsh environment electronics and high-frequency magnet technology for power electronics.
