Applied Superconductivity

Dr Ercan Ertekin

Postdoctoral Researcher

Dr. Ercan Ertekin earned his Ph.D. in Physics in 2016. With a decade-long journey in applied superconductivity research, he has carved a niche for himself in the field. His expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of projects, including the development of superconducting fault current limiters (SFCL), superconducting magnets, and the exploration of superconducting materials such as MgB2 and YBCO.

Dr. Ercan Ertekin’s work has pivotal implications for energy systems, medical technologies, and transportation infrastructures. His scholarly contributions have enriched numerous publications and conferences, disseminating valuable insights into this specialized domain. Moreover, he possesses a profound command over cryogenic systems, including helium gas circulation systems and cryogen-free cryostats, which are vital for the functionality of superconducting apparatuses.
