Shiyao Yu

Biography
Shiyao Yu received his MSc degree from the University of Birmingham, and BEng degree from the University of Strathclyde. He has been engaging in Electrical Power Systems since 2019. He joint the Applied Superconducting Research Group of the University of Strathclyde as a PhD supervised by Prof. Min Zhang in 2021.
His PhD project is about assessing the power plant designs and protection coordination of STEP Prototype Powerplant (SPP), by working with UKAEA.
