Biography
Fangjing Weng was a PhD at ASL between 2018-2021, working on fully high temperature superconducting machine for future electric aircraft. He recently joined the China Academy of Space Technology as an aerospace designer.

In this thesis, the work focusses on pushing the HTS machine towards commercialisation use in power applications by focussing on AC loss studies on both rotor and stator of an HTS machine.
