Alumni Talk Recap: Dr. Muhammad Haseeb Iftikhar on His Experience at UKAEA

We were pleased to host an engaging alumni talk by Dr. Muhammad Haseeb Iftikhar, who is currently a Senior Superconducting Magnets R&D Engineer at the UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) in Culham, UK.

Haseeb offered a unique perspective on working at one of the world’s leading fusion energy research centres. He shared insights into the collaborative and high-impact research environment at Culham Science Centre, highlighting his involvement in the development of advanced superconducting magnet technologies for future fusion reactors.

Beyond the technical content, Dr. Iftikhar provided valuable advice to PhD students on how to navigate research challenges, build professional skills, and plan a fulfilling career in the field of applied superconductivity and energy systems.
