Alumni Talk Recap: Dr. Pavan Chaganti on His Experience at CERN

We were pleased to host an alumni talk by Dr. Pavan Chaganti, currently working as an Electrical Engineer at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, located across the border of Switzerland and France.

In his talk titled “Experience at CERN”, Dr. Chaganti shared valuable insights into his professional journey and current role at one of the world’s leading scientific institutions. He introduced the audience to the unique working environment at CERN, described the collaborative international culture, and highlighted cutting-edge work in superconducting systems and accelerator technologies.

Beyond the technical aspects, Dr. Chaganti reflected on his personal experiences living and working in both Switzerland and France, and offered thoughtful reflections on how his academic background helped shape his path. His presentation blended technical depth with honest reflections, leaving students both informed and inspired.
