We were privileged to host Professor Fred Eastham, a distinguished leader in the field of electrical engineering, for a one-day visit to the Applied Superconductivity Laboratory. This visit was more than just an academic exchange—it was an invaluable opportunity for our team to receive expert guidance from a true pioneer in the industry.

Professor Eastham engaged with several of our PhD students, listening to their presentations on cutting-edge research in superconductivity. He provided in-depth guidance, offering insightful feedback and constructive advice, significantly enriching the students’ academic pursuits. His presence and expertise served as a beacon for advancing the work of our laboratory.
